What is Outlook?

Outlook is an E-mail program which is developed by Microsoft from which users send and receive e-mail on their computers. In Microsoft Outlook there are two types of versions first one is – Microsoft Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook.
Microsoft Outlook Express is a slimmed-down version of Microsoft Outlook in the software family. It was first enabled running in Windows 98 and also with all performances of Windows up to Windows XP.

Microsoft Outlook is a marketable product which available as a stand-alone version or part of the Microsoft Office package. It’s much more completely featured with better commercial support and also capabilities that aren’t found in the free edition.

Functions of outlook

  • In Outlook, all the emails transferred or received can easily be tracked if the correct settings have been added to the application
  • Outlook makes communication easy, and simple and transferring mail is just a click away.
  • In these emails, there are various attachments in different formats which can be added.
  • It connects automatically to which mails are similar and forms a mail thread of similar mails.
  • You can fluently share and collaborate with other members of your team or group.
  • It’s easy to set up activities as a team for the organizations in Outlook.
  • It provides features to set up appointments and meetings using a calendar and setting up reminders for the same. It’s an organizing and managing operation.

Components of MS Outlook

  • In top shows the MS Outlook Ribbon where all the factors and options that can be used to work on this operation are given. This Strip is based on the latest version of MS Outlook and made the program more useful and interactive for its users.
  • Options to produce new mains, set up timetables or movables, reply or encourage mail, etc. can all be done using the features present in the list.
  • There are also options like “ New” and “ Delete” where new matters or meetings can be set and deleting the existing or old junk mail can be done.
  • However, one must know to use MS Outlook, a proper set is needed, and logging in using a dispatch ID is also mandatory. However, the setup is previously done, If the application is being used by an Organisation or a group of people. But for individual or particular operations, needs to be set up as per the user’s demand.
